Stagger Not at the PROMISE... Walk in Faith!

A few days ago I blogged that God is always bigger than your dream.  God is always bigger than your problem.  So what I want to share with you today is although you may have a dream just like Joseph you will face some giants.  But as Donald Lawrence says in his song "Giants they do fall, the bigger they are the hard they fall.  So I hope you can see by now that walking/living by faith is not always going to be easy. We all face challenges. It’s just that when you are believer and you are standing in faith, you can face those challengeswith God and knowing that you are not alone. Abraham, for example, had to believe God to have a baby when he was 99 years old and his wife was 90. Now they had been trying all their lives.  Sarah was barren.   The physical evidence was clearly staring him in the face. But the Bible says that he believed in a God, “Who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were” (Rom 4:18). In other words, he had to believe that God was bigger than his body, Sarah’s body, and every negative reality that was associated with this situation. In the natural, their dream of having a baby should have been dead, but Abraham believed in a God that could give life to any dead situation. He believed in a God who looked at darkness and spoke life, who could look at barrenness and speak birth, who could look at destruction and speak peace, and who could look at death and speak life! That’s the kind of God Abraham believed in. Because of his belief, he was able to “consider not” (or forget about) every negative thing staring him the face. His decision to consider not, enabled him to “stagger not” (or remain in faith) at the promise of God. In other words, Abraham’s focus was not on his problem, but rather on God’s promise.

I am facing some situations today but I have chosen to continue to dream.  I've chosen to soar above every obstacle that's in my way.   I stagger not at the promises of God. He will truly make a way out of know way.  The God I serve operates best in the last hour.  So I speak that doors are being open to me today.  The proposal that I submitted today has been approved.  He has give me the keys and I am using them to unlock opportunities in my life. I thank God for using me to be a blessing in the lives of othes.  So D.R.E.A.M. (Determined, Responsible, Empowered, Amazing, Mature) Woman whatever you are facing today please focus on promise not the problem. What did God say about your situation?

Be Blessed that you may be a blessing.
