Don't Abort!

God is faithful to His promises.  I was given a word from God some years ago and it seems as if it is never going to come to pass.  But through reading the word today God reminded me of the old saying "He may not come when you want Him but He is always on time".

In 1 Samuel 15, the prophet anoints David the king of Israel - but it would be 18 chapters before David would take the throne.  His training required ducking spears, hiding in caves, running from Saul for 7 years.  David was despised with a promise.  Not only did he has a promise he was anointed.

This made me think of a book "Dream Releasers" where the author said God does the same with us. Wayne Cordeiro says if you are a dreamer  and you plan to see your dream come to pass, you must develop the critical character qualities of endurance, integrity, wisdom, discernment, maturity and authenticity- none of which appear overnight.  They come only to those who stay in the plan of God.

I write to you today "Don't abort the DREAM"! Stay in the will of God.  You may be like David and wondering why would God give me a dream and I have to go through so much pain.  You are on the wheel and being shaped and molded into the best you.  D.R.E.A.M. (Determined, Responsible, Empowered, Amazing, Mature) Woman hang in there this too shall come to pass.

God Bless.

Trouble Don't Last Always

Today was a long but wonderful day.  It is a day that the Lord has made and despite it all I will rejoice in it.  I sat hours researching business ideas today.  The scripture says in Proverbs 8:12 I wisdom dwell with prudence, find out knowledge of witty inventions.  As I sat seeking the Lord on where HE is directing my life He keeps on giving me ideas that I know I could have never thought of on my own.

As you began to step out into your Red Sea you began to see obstacles moved out of your way.  I would often use the excuse that I did not go to school for that or I don't have the skills for that.  But now God is removing every excuse I could ever think of.

The last year has been up and down bu through it all GOD has kept His promises.  He has been Jehovah Jireh my provider.  He has truly blessed me going in and going out.  If you had told me 2 years ago I could have made it through this I probably would have doubted you.  All I can say while I am still in it is "But GOD"!

You see God does not look upon trouble as we do. Where we see problems He sees opportunities. Where we see crisis, He sees growth and maturity. God's purpose in these times is to teach His children precious lessons. Your problems, failures and issues are intended to educate and build us up. And when we learn from them and ride out these storms of life, we will see the great promise fulfilled.

So when bad stuff happens, we need to see it as a time tolearn and to trust Him.  Believing that All thing work together for them that Love God and are call according to His purpose. . And when it is over we can look back and see that our trials have been necessary. We are better, He is glorified!
Hold on to your dream despite of your sorrow.  He will finish the good work He began in you.

I Don't Feel No Ways Tired...It Shall Come To Pass

He Didn't Bring You This Far to Leave You

James Cleveland wrote I don’t feel no ways tired. I’ve come too far from where I started from.

Nobody told me that the road would be easy. BUT I DON’T BELIEVE HE BROUGHT ME THIS FAR TO LEAVE ME.”

Today I have climbed some mountains and I've been through some valleys but I know God has been with me through it all.  He has allowed me to grow through some situations.  Today was very slow at the store and I started to look at it in a negative way.  But God reminded me that He is my provider.  Yesterday a lady came in and she lost her job she was in tears and my husband was there to share his testimony of how his trust was in a job.  He traveled, he moved, he worked overtime and one day he was told he was no longer needed.  After his sharing she left with some hope that GOD did not bring her this far to leave her.  Sometimes we see it one way but GOD has a plan so much greater than our plans.

Psalm chapter 37:25 says, “I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

Some of us have been walking the walk for a mighty long time.  It seems like the vision is tarrying and never gonna come to pass. Take a moment and see that you have come a long ways from where you started from.  The road hasn’t been easy. There has some difficult situations and some turbulent storms.

But, nobody told you that the road would be easy.  No matter what you are going through today, I can’t believe He brought you this far, just to leave you! Hebrews 13:5 say He will never leave you nor forsake you.

In the book of Exodus we find the children of Israel being led out of Egypt’s bondage to the Promised Land. Pharaoh had them in bondange and  they cried out to God for deliverance.God sent Moses to be their deliverer.  The day came for their departure from Egypt and leave behind slavery.

But they came to the Red Sea! There was no way across. Pharaoh had changed his mind about allowing them to go free, and he was after them. It looked like their doom was sealed. If Pharaoh caught up with them, they knew he would certainly make life miserable for them.

Can you imaging old Moses, standing up to comfort the people because he had a word from God. He had just heard from God!  The bible does not say this but I can imagine Moses saying  “Now, children! Just calm down! Don’t get all scared on me now. I don’t believe He brought us this far, just to leave us.” We have come too far from where we started from.”

While birthing the dream Youwill face those Red Sea experiences, where you have no place to go, and the old devil is on your trail hot and heavy. Mountains of difficulty may be on both sides of you. The sea ofmay be in front of you. The enemy of destruction may be behind you. But I don’t believe that He brought you this far, just to leave you!

Press forth and watch your Red Sea roll up in a heap and you shall cross on dry land while your enemy is being swallowed up.

Be blessed and watch God do it.

Stagger Not at the PROMISE... Walk in Faith!

A few days ago I blogged that God is always bigger than your dream.  God is always bigger than your problem.  So what I want to share with you today is although you may have a dream just like Joseph you will face some giants.  But as Donald Lawrence says in his song "Giants they do fall, the bigger they are the hard they fall.  So I hope you can see by now that walking/living by faith is not always going to be easy. We all face challenges. It’s just that when you are believer and you are standing in faith, you can face those challengeswith God and knowing that you are not alone. Abraham, for example, had to believe God to have a baby when he was 99 years old and his wife was 90. Now they had been trying all their lives.  Sarah was barren.   The physical evidence was clearly staring him in the face. But the Bible says that he believed in a God, “Who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were” (Rom 4:18). In other words, he had to believe that God was bigger than his body, Sarah’s body, and every negative reality that was associated with this situation. In the natural, their dream of having a baby should have been dead, but Abraham believed in a God that could give life to any dead situation. He believed in a God who looked at darkness and spoke life, who could look at barrenness and speak birth, who could look at destruction and speak peace, and who could look at death and speak life! That’s the kind of God Abraham believed in. Because of his belief, he was able to “consider not” (or forget about) every negative thing staring him the face. His decision to consider not, enabled him to “stagger not” (or remain in faith) at the promise of God. In other words, Abraham’s focus was not on his problem, but rather on God’s promise.

I am facing some situations today but I have chosen to continue to dream.  I've chosen to soar above every obstacle that's in my way.   I stagger not at the promises of God. He will truly make a way out of know way.  The God I serve operates best in the last hour.  So I speak that doors are being open to me today.  The proposal that I submitted today has been approved.  He has give me the keys and I am using them to unlock opportunities in my life. I thank God for using me to be a blessing in the lives of othes.  So D.R.E.A.M. (Determined, Responsible, Empowered, Amazing, Mature) Woman whatever you are facing today please focus on promise not the problem. What did God say about your situation?

Be Blessed that you may be a blessing.

Are you your "DREAM KILLER"?

I was having a conversation with my Pastor last week and we were talking about dreams and dream killers,  He said something so powerful and it really made me think.  He said most people are killers of their own dreams.  We kill our dreams with negative talk. We kill our dreams by living beneath our privileges and choosing to walk by sight and not faith.  Dreams die because people choose to live in SIN.  Regardless of how great our gifts are we must be aligned with the word of God. GOD can't bless no MESS!

Today, I decided to ask God to show me how I am hindering His dreams for my life and limiting my potential in life.  How am I am reacting to various situations in my life.Do I live up to my potential? Am I still angry with father that did not raise me?  Am I angry with the guy that left me? Do I still hold a grudge against the boss that fired me?  You see we must stop blaming God and other people for our problems and realize that we do have the power to make choices that will change our lives for the better. Will you decide with me that rather than being a victim who believes that the world happens to us,let's decide to be a victor who believes that we happen to the world.  When we step into our churches, offices, communities things change for the better. You see when we allow God to work through us every day situations and circumstances must change. Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world.  I am more than a conqueror I have the power and passion to change my situation.  What about you?

When you look in the mirror what do you See? What do you speak? I speak life.

Affirmations to apply to your life:

1.      I am a daughter of the Most High God

2.      I will see my dreams and destiny fulfilled no matter what has happened in my life.

3.      I have new levels of GOD’s favors as I press on in faith in HIM in the midst of it all.

4.      I hear GOD speaking extraordinary things about me.

5.      I am armed and equipped: I;m blessed, I am rich, I have favor of God.

The Dream Is Always Bigger than YOU!

Proverbs 29:18 says, Where there is no vision, the people are unrestrained, but happy is he who keeps the law.

Whenever God wants to accomplish something in our lives He gives us a dream. Dreams are what motivate us to move forward. Dreamers are often the laughingstock of society and may times in the church.  People look at things that are bigger than you and bigger than them and immediately believe it's impossible.  Yes, maybe for me but not for my God.  God is bigger than any dream that I could ever dream.

Joseph was a dreamer.  His brothers were laughing and even tried to kill him when he shared his dream.  However, nobody was laughing when His dream came to pass and everyone was fed.  You may be laughing at me now but watch God. Your dream is always bigger than you. In other words, it must require extreme faith or else we will be tempted to accomplish it on our own.

D.R.E.A.M (Determined, Responsible, Empowered, Amazing, Mature) Woman it is time to take action.  Remember, faith is active not passive.  You must Do Something With the Dream That God Has Given You! Nothing will happen until we begin to move forward.

Dreams will cost you something.  You must be willing to sacrifice your time, your money, and your energy into the dream.

Quit living in the past! Live in the Present and watch God orchestrate your future.  I charge you to let go of the problems, struggles, shattered dreams, and failures. Be willing to move forward. Paul said in Philippians 3:13 Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Dare to Dream Again

Do you remember when you were a child and no dream seemed too big? Some of us thought we would walk on the moon; some dreamed of being a movie star; others imagined playing in the NFL or the NBA. Every one of us, when we were young, had a common trait—we were dreamers. The world hadn’t gotten to us yet to show us that we couldn’t possibly achieve what our hearts longed for. But somehow someone told that young man that dreamed to be an engineer that you are not good in math and you will never be an engineer.  Or maybe you were the young lady that aspired to be a model and someone said you are too fat to be a model.  They both laid down their dreams because of the world's standards. Only if someone was there to tell them all things are possible to them that believe.  If you make the plan and work the plan it is possible.

Instead, just like them, we eventually start to let our dreams die. People began to tell us that we couldn’t do the things we wanted. That it just was impossible. We are told responsible people don’t pursue their dreams. Responsible people settle down, get a job, be dependable. They take care of business, live the mundane, content life.  You know the way alot of us are.  We work at jobs we hate.  However, we need a check to pay the bills.  Our whole lives are driven by bills and debt.  But I hear God saying "Dare to Dream Again"! I will do exceedingly abundantly above all you can ask or think.
Remember, successful people always begin with a God given dream. They dream big dreams and then display great courage to do things that others say cannot be done.
I declare that D.R.E.A.M. (Determined, Responsible, Empowering, Amazing, Mature)Women are:
  • Letting go of past hurts
  • Rising above mental boundaries
  • Picturing their dreams accomplished
  • Writing the Vision and Making it Plain
  • Stepping into their God Given Purpose
News Flash: Dreamers are risk-takers and are always in the minority.  Once you began to walk in the plan that God has for your life many will not understand.  They will give you their advice according to the world.  I've decided to stop listening to the world because I hear the call of God and It's so GREAT! What about you?

Birthing the DREAM

Hello  D.R.E.A.M. Woman,
A dream is a seed that God plants in the fertile soil of your heart. In order for a seed to produce fruit, it must go through a process of development.
The first stage is conception. Conception the process of arriving at an abstract idea or belief or the moment at which such an idea starts to take shape or emerge
This is when God places a vision or a dream in your heart. Once the dream is in your heart, it must go through the second stage.
The second stage is Development- the process of changing and becoming larger, stronger, or more impressive, successful, or advanced, or of causing somebody or something to change in this way
Development, growth and maturity must take place before you can give birth to the fulfillment.
The time of conception until the time of fulfillment is the most important time to protect your dream.
This is the time when the enemy, other people, and even you, may try to abort your dream through hurt, unbelief, discouragement, and impatience.
But we all need to remember that once God has planted a dream within our heart, He has every intention of bringing it to pass. “Faithful is He that calleth you, is HE who will also do it.”
First Thessalonians 5:24 - He who calls you is faithful; hhe will surely do it. God is going to do what He said in your life.  No matter what is may look like it it.  Protect the Dream. Take failure as an opportunity to learn how to do it better next time. There is no failure in God.  This is another opportunity to birth this thing.  I am only being Devloped.  D.R.E.A.M girl it is maturity time.

A Mature D.R.E.A.M. Woman

Good Morning D.R.E.A.M Woman,
The Word for the day is MATURE.  Are you mature in the things of God?
Paul said, when I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. “When I was a child I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child”. “But when I became a man I put away childish things.” (1 Corinthians 13:11)
One of the first things apparent from Paul’s words is that it’s appropriate to have different expectations of mature individuals.  When I meet someone mature my expectations are much different than those of a child.  Often you meet adults that are doing exhibiting childish behavior.  If you don’t believe peruse FB and read randomly post. Church attendance, age, and gifts does not make a person mature.
A D.R.E.A.M (Determined, Responsible, Empowered, Amazing, and Mature) Woman is a woman of virtue that does morally good. She aims to always learn what the right thing is and then do it. This is not about being "holier than thou" or perfect but rather living a life of good works and moral behavior.

D.R.E.A.M ((Determined, Responsible, Empowered, Amazing, Mature) Woman
if you are rooted in Christ, then you should be growing in Him. Evaluate yourself and your situations.  Are you still in the same place you were last year, last month or even last week?  If so we need to set our focus on where GOD has called us to be and press forward.  Mature woman I am speaking no more stagnation in our lives there is refreshing water flowing in and out. A flowing stream is constantly fed by a higher water source.  Allow God to feed your Dream today as you pour into others on your way.

GOD Bless.  We have completed the definition of a D.R.E.A.M. Woman.  Now we will begin with the steps to birthing your dreams.

Love you guys and thanks for helping me birth my dream.  Look forward to hearing the testimonies of what GOD has done.

This song truly blesses me each time I listen to it.  Hold on to your dreams no matter what it looks like.  Pick up your DREAMS and run with them.  Leap high and reach for the stars.  It's not too late.

You are Simply an "Amazing" D.R.E.A.M. Woman

Good Afternoon D.R.E.A.M. Woman,
Today I am seeing myself as the AMAZING woman God created me to be. Do you see yourself the way God sees you.  You and I are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).  When I look in the mirror I see the person that was created in the image and likeness of GOD.  I see a woman that was created for SUCCESS.  I see a woman who worth is more than rubies. That is surely amazing when I think about how many times I have fallen short of His glory yet when God sees me He see himself in me.
I am unique!
There is no one quite like Teresa D. Niles. There is no one like _______________(your name here)
With that in mind I’ve stepped out of the crowd.
And I am
  • Showing my own style
  • Wearing my own smile
  • Living out my Dreams
  • All while walking in the ways of God
This is the life of a D.R.E.A.M. (Determined, Responsible, Empowered, Amazing, Mature) Woman. She continues to press through the obstacles, while moving past the hurt, and decides to celebrate during the pain. Why? Because, my God is for us it does not matter who’s is against us. That’s Simply Amazing!

Empowered to be all that He Created me to be

o far this week we have covered Determined and Responsible. I will continue to share what it means to be a D.R.E.A.M (Determined, Responsible, Empowered, Amazing, Mature) Woman.
Empowered -To equip or supply with an ability; enable
Ladies God has equipped or supplied us with the ability not only to dream but to live our dreams. God has equipped you with everything you need to fulfill your destiny. If you stay the journey God will move people and obstacles out of your way. Grow weary not in well doing for in due time you shall reap. Gal 6:9.

My affirmation on today:
•I am empowered to change both my life and the lives of others.
•I am empowered to move past the status quo and create a life you can be proud of.

The most effective way to do it, is to do it. - Amelia Earhart.
Ladie Let's DO IT!!! Be Empowered today!!God bless

Determined (I am a Determined, Responsible, Empowered, Amazing, Mature) Woman

Determination is a word you often hear in today's world about athletes or people overcoming complications in life. The Bible has instructions on the types and reasons for Christians to be equally determined. As followers of God and believers of Jesus Christ, we are to persevere through trials, use self discipline, allow God to give us strength, and give God all of the glory. A D.R.E.A.M. (Determined, Responsible, Empowered, Amazing, Mature) Woman is a woman that is determined and will not allow trials to discourage her from purpose.

Press through your trials today knowing that All things work together for the good of them that love God and aare called according to HIS purpose.  No matter what it looks, feels or seems like it is working for your good because my God can't lie.

Make is a great Day.

I am Responsible for my Dreams

RESPONSIBLE
I have decided that today, and from here on, that I am totally responsible for my Dreams.  I will only describe my progress in positive terms. Never again will I say, “I have no idea where I belong” or “I’m not in a position to fulfill my dreams.” Proverbs 18:21 the tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit. Stop feeding those negative thoughts.
FB family, if you want to stay lost and remain insignificant then keep saying what is not possible and keep passing the blame.
·         You are responsible for your DREAMS.
·         You are responsible for your life.
·         You are responsible for you.
A D.R.E.A.M. (Determined, Righteous, Empowered, Amazing Mature) Woman no longer blames anyone for her dreams not coming to pass.  She rises up in the morning knowing who she is, knowing what she was created to do, and focused on where she is going and that success awaits her if she faints not.
Birth your Dreams today.
